I'm working on a short visual novel project right now, but I'm running into a really big problem- dialogue.

I'm really bad at coming up with dialogue that makes sense helps move the story along.. any tips? any are appreciated, you don't have to be an expert :']]c

I am studying web development and I like to program visual novels on the side!
